Awakening Kingdoms 1.0

Awakening Kingdoms is the next installation to one of Big Fish Games most popular franchises, Awakening. The game series Awakening made up of hidden-object puzzle and adventure games where the player must solve puzzles and find hidden objects in order to progress through the game. The games come in several languages for both the Standard editions and Collector's editions of the games.

Before Awakening Kingdoms, the series included five games with the third installment, Awakening:The Goblin Kingdom, being the most popular of them all. And it wasn't only the games personal community that thought so. In fact, in 2011 it won the Best Hidden Object Game of 2011 Award by Casual Gameplay, a video game reviews website that features several updates daily and several different types of games, including casual games and online games that are played in a web browser.

Awakening Kingdoms is somewhat different from its predecessors. Well of course it is a new game, but it doesn't quite follow along with the series of five. Awakening Kingdoms is its own standalone game. It is not, at the moment set to replace the series, which leads one to wonder if Big Fish is going to continue the series and start a new one alongside it. Or is this just an experiment to see if the Awakening community would accept change. The game itself is set in Queen Sophia's kingdom, but all eyes aren't on her this time around, as her main character role has been replaced.

A recent February update revealed new areas and new in game events.
