Berlin '82 1.0

Berlin ’82 may sound like it might be some kind of political game set against the backdrop of a divided Germany before the infamous Berlin wall came down, however it’s very different to that it’s actually an endless isometric driving game, with the story line being you have just pulled off a bank robbery and now you must keep driving around the city avoiding the police who are following you close behind in hot pursuit.

We must also mention that this game is hard, very hard indeed and it is very advisable to play through on the slightly slower paced (and featuring no police) tutorial level for a good bit until you get used to the steering and traction of your vehicle because once you go in to the game even on normal mode (hard was well outside of our remit) it becomes incredibly difficult and frantic.

There are some really nice touches in the game things such as the city hall and the church look great however it’s unlikely you will get time to take pleasure in the scenery as you try to concentrate on escaping the police and making sharp and tight turns.

Berlin ’82 is a fun free game that may confuse some with its choice of title but it’s a good looking and interesting driving game, that can be very rewarding if you’re willing to put the time in to get good at driving your vehicle!
