Friday Night Funkin' has been a massive hit among the gaming community. It is insanely stylish while also hitting the nostalgia switch with its art style. It's also incredibly moddable, with practically every asset it has being editable. The community has created a ton of mods. This has led to a ton of mods that propose alternate universes. One of the most fun and well realized ones is the genderbent universe. Boyfriend's Dad is an entry in this universe.

To install Boyfriend's Dad, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

Do note that the picture depicts all of the mods in this alternate universe already applied.

This mod is pretty straightforward. It replaces the Week 1 dad with a custom dad that's based on the gender-bent boyfriend's family. One of the most fun parts of the mod is how he contrasts the base girlfriend's father.

Instead of a demonic red glow in his eyes, he now has an angelic glow, heavily implying that in this universe, they're worried about the genderbent girlfriend's demonic parentage and want to protect their daughter. It's a very fun little bit of design that tells a bit of lore about the universe without putting too much effort into actual storytelling.

In comparison to a lot of other Friday Night Funkin' mods so far, this visual makeover definitely has a ton of effort put into it. Boyfriend's Dad is a fantastically fun visual mod that's very well realized.
