Minecraft, by itself, is a fantastic game that has almost limitless possibilities. However, that doesn't mean that it has everything that players want from it. For instance, the Nether was pretty devoid of content for a long time until very recently and not everybody was a fan of its Hell aesthetic. One talented modder decided to create a whole new dimension for people to explore and released it as CandyCraft.

To install CandyCraft, you'll need to have Minecraft Forge and then run the installer, starting Minecraft with the Forge Profile. Then, place it in the mods folder.

To get into the dimension, you'll need to acquire some of the newly added sugar blocks and make the normal Nether portal shape with them, then set the portal itself on fire like you would. Once that's done, you can enter the new candy dimension.

This dimension has a staggering amount of content, with a whole new set of minerals to mine, mobs to kill, blocks to build with, armor to wear, items to gather, and more. There are also a ton of different bosses and elite enemies that spawn in special new dungeons for you to kill. Even compared to the Nether today, this dimension has more content and more to do inside it.

Overall, CandyCraft is one of the better Minecraft mods out there. It has a ton of content and is incredibly unique even by today's standards. If you wanted a more interesting dimension to explore than what the base game has, you should definitely give it a download.
