Check Please is a physics based dating simulator game where you play as a man who seems to have some difficulty controlling his hands (well hand) and must try to perform basic tasks to impress his date such as lighting candles and pouring wine, however although these tasks sound easy it’s not so simple and if you upset your date then she will leave the restaurant early, leaving you to pick up the check and spend another night alone!

Made for the “two incompatible genres” Ludum Dare Game Jam the developers decided to put a physics based game and dating simulator together and the result is actually hilarious although after the first two tasks it does feel like there is absolutely no way to complete the third (or maybe not) but you will have a lot of fun trying to light candles and pour wine without burning or spilling wine on your date and allowing it to end prematurely.

Check Please looks good and the animations are really well made, it’s just a shame there isn’t more to it as it’s a game we would happily have spent a lot more time playing and laughing over!
