Flowcharts are a very useful thing. You can lay out the details to a boardroom of directors easily, brainstorm with your fellow creative writers, plan out a story to a multiple choice game...the scenarios are endless. Therefore, it's incredibly useful to have a program that creates such a thing easily. Enter the Clickcharts Flowchart Maker.

To get something out of the way, yes. It is laden with ads, much like NCH Software's other programs. After shuffling through so many of their programs recently, it's clear that they want more publicity per customer, but there are clearly better ways to do it. Like letting the programs speak for themselves - all of NCH Software's work is incredibly solid, and Clickcharts Flowchart Maker is no exception.

The templates included with Clickcharts is appreciably varied. The templates involve a Data Flow Diagram, Mind Map, ER Diagram, a UML Class Diagram, and more. If you want, though, you can easily start from the beginning with a blank one if you so wish. These templates come with a ton of lines and connections already, and you may find it in your best interest to make your own instead. I found it much too tedious to edit the existing templates, personally.
