Dark Night 1.0

Dark Night (not to be confused with Batman, The Dark Knight) is a very short demo for a game and there is not much more to it than walking through a series of darkened rooms however the creepy sounds and the limited visibility build up a sense of tension that will make your heart pump fast and then that is followed by boom one of the best and most well designed jump scares in a game ever, in fact after the first time you have faced you will probably have more fear playing the game the second time around knowing at some point you may face it again and each and every time it doesn’t fail to make you jump out of your seat.

The guys at NightHood games have really designed a game that will send chills down your spine and in a horror game that’s always a good sign, the finished game should be immense if you can bring yourself to play it after this demo!

The graphics are nothing special and the scenery is rather barren but the sense of dread that it fills you with is exhilarating as well as fear inducing, the full game will surely feature much more detail but if you like to play horror games and are a fan of jump scares then this certainly is for you.
