Football World 1.0

Football World has to be one of the worst designed soccer games ever made, FIFA it is not that’s for sure, and what is really disappointing about it is there is potential here the graphics for a free game are really nice but the game itself is almost unplayable, all the controls are using the left click mouse button and if you are off the ball you will end up just sliding around on the floor every time you click it.

Making a pass to a team mate is near enough impossible and trying to shoot (if you ever manage to get the ball anywhere near the opposing teams goal area) is very unlikely to happen.

Perhaps there are further controls that would make the game playable but based on the brief tutorial screen at the start it only shows using the left mouse button for every instruction so you just end up sliding on the ground like some sort of strange ballerina!

On top of this not much thought has gone in to the teams for example you can play as Northern Ireland however there is no England but there is a Great Britain flag however there is no such thing as a Great Britain soccer team (apart from in the Olympics).

If you are desperate for a football game then you can download Football World but you would be better off looking for an older but more playable game such as Pro Evolution Soccer 2013.
