Free Password Manager Review

If you're like most internet goers, you probably have a ton of sensitive data lurking on your computer. Some might be sensitive of the legal variety, some might be of the personal variety. If your machine was ever stolen, it could potentially impact your life incredibly negatively. You need to secure all your data, and Free Password Manager is here to help.

The program has a ton of features hidden behind its deceptively simple interface. There's a tree hierarchy down the left that lets users organize their records in folders. There, you can see all the folders and records you created, and then more. Free Password Manager also comes with a sample database with folders so you know what your organization should look like. For each record you create, you can enter a title, username, account name, URL, and password.

Should this all sound incredibly overwhelming, fear not. It comes with a built-in Help file that details practically everything comprehensively and easily enough. But even so, I found that the program was very manageable without the help file - it isn't too difficult to figure out. Unlike many other programs that I've seen, this program also is specific about the kind of encryption it uses. It uses AES encryption with a 256-bit key. This gives it a lot more credibility than other similar programs.

If you're the kind of person that can't remember their own passwords or account information, then I recommend Free Password Manager for you! It should help tidy your life up a little bit!
