Fruit Splash 3.1.0

Fruit Splash is a simple space invaders style game with an educational feel to it to an extent anyway. The premise is you play as weird small UFO shaped thing with the ability to shoot objects falling towards you, these objects are made up of healthy foods (mostly fruit) and unhealthy food (hamburgers, cakes and soda pop). Your job is too shoot all the junk food and let the healthy food go past you and be collected, however let too many pieces of junk food get past without being eliminated and you will soon find your life bar disintegrating and if it goes the whole way down then it’s game over.

The trouble with Fruit Splash is that it’s quite unresponsive it’s unclear if you are limited to the amount of the shots you can fire or if there is a recharge time after a set amount as many times whilst positioned to shoot some junk food and smashing on space bar with nothing happening was quite annoying, also your UFO style thing doesn’t move anywhere near quick enough to give you a fair chance to be able to shoot all the bad food items that you need to.

Sadly although it does have a rather educational message about eating good foods and avoiding junk food it’s just not very original and the game play is not a lot of fun.
