Goliath 1.0

Goliath is an RPG game demo that is currently in pre-alpha mode and it looks fantastic with really inviting cartoon like graphics, you start out at your base camp on the middle of the forest where you have a station for crafting mechs (big mechanical robot suits of armor) and a station for crafting weapons. As this is the demo version it has been made a little easier as you have pretty much unlimited coins but you still must scavenge for the materials you need to build better and stronger mechs. You are able to run off in to the forest in your human form to look for items to use to create things but you must be very careful as you are much more vulnerable without your mech suit as I found when attacked and over powered by a group of chickens!

The game looks great and is not without humor, the concept of building bigger and better robots as you go on is pretty awesome also, a negative point is the controls when moving when using a keyboard anyway, the protagonist seems to move quite unnaturally and in very straight lines which looks a little odd and it can also be kind of hard to walk around because of this.

As it’s still in the pre-alpha demo mode there is plenty of time for the bugs to be fixed and also it may be that playing with a controller would fix the issue.
