Homeworld 2 Complex 13.4

Homeworld is an RTS that many remember to this day for a variety of reasons. Some remember it for its memorable storyline, others remember it for introducing a third dimension into the RTS gameplay. Regardless, many hail it as the best space RTS ever made. Well, there are mods that improve almost every aspect of it, such as Homeworld 2 Complex.

To install Homeworld 2 Complex, make sure you own Homeworld Remastered Collection. Once that's done, follow the readme to install it.

This game is very similar to the base Homeworld 2, except...well, it expands on every single aspect of the game. As of right now, it already has the ability to colonize a planet, a diplomacy system, 40 new units, bigger battles, expanded research trees, ability to utilise trade convoys, game time in years, honor system capping rank, the replacement of unit cap with crew and officers, and also has a ton of different customizable game parameters. It also adds new playable factions such as the Hiigaran and Vaygr factions.

This mod also recently released the first episode in its single player campaign, which is slated to have five episodes. It follows a people named the EVO. The first episode is setup, but it's relatively impressive regardless. 

This mod is still constantly being updated, and you can easily keep up on their website. If you were a fan of Homeworld, then you should definitely give Homeworld 2 Complex a download. If you're a newcomer, however, you best steer clear. This mod is too likely complex for you.
