Kama Sutra 1.0

DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything.  From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods and maps that can all do different things. There are even full campaigns created called megawads. One of many is Kama Sutra.

To install Kama Sutra, you need to have ZDoom and move the WAD file into the GZDoom folder, which is pretty par for the course for DOOM maps.

There is no story for this megawad, and there isn't even any obvious theming going on. A level can go from red rock inferno straight to a white desert in the blink of an eye. The biggest thing you'll need to consider is that there is some imagery that's pretty blatantly sexual, sometimes so much that it's juvenile. There is one section in map 30 where there is a statue of a headless nude woman lying on her back with her legs spread, and cubes constantly spawn from her birth canal.

The biggest draw is the gameplay. The creators love high difficulty mapsets, and it shows with how they design some of their later maps. However, there is a clear difficulty curve, but in such a way where even the easiest levels are designed strongly enough that it facilitates speedrunning with how tightly it's tuned.

All in all, aside from some juvenile sexual imagery, Kama Sutra is a fantastic megawad and is incredibly fun to play through.
