Last Knight 1.0

Last Knight is a side scrolling tower defense game where you play as a knight who is trying to win the heart of the princess however after she is rather unimpressed by your gift of a fish to her she then decides to see other suitors, the only way you will be able to stop her from choosing another knight is to make sure none of them are able to reach the castle , you will need to place traps which can be bought using diamonds to stop the other knights reaching the entrance to the castle and make sure the princess will only be able to choose you.

The premise of the game is good and the animations of your rival knights has a really nice look to them that kind of combines both 2D and 3D rendering however there does seems to be quite a few bugs with last Knight and the game play is where it lets itself down, it can often be glitchy such as knights reaching the castle gates but just kind of running on the spot rather than entering and ending the round, also a tutorial would have been really helpful because you start off with only a small amount of currency and once you have used that on traps to stop your rivals there is no explanation as to how to obtain more.

A good looking tower defense game that has potential but at the moment could really use a few tweaks to the game play, you can download Last Knight here for free.
