Logyx Pack 15.22

Logic games have been proven to be a great way to keep your mind healthy. The brain is a muscle and you have to work hard to keep it from getting flabby. Moreover, some studies have shown that they may have some effectiveness at delaying Alzheimers! So what better way to spend your day than with Logyx, the program with a ton of logic games built in?

The initial impressions when you boot up Logyx aren't too great. The interface is insanely simple, and a picture of checkers instantly greets you. There isn't even a proper game select screen - it just starts you at Checkers. Well...it did for me. The starting game is randomized, as I later found out. The top of the window tells you what game you're playing, and what level you're on. You'll need to set it to properly get a certain game to pop up first thing.

To select your game, you'll need to click the Play tab and select your game by looking at the alphabetical order. Some of the most obvious ones are here, like Checkers and Battleships, games with a twist like Hexagonal Tetris, and completely obscure and unheard of ones like Nim. 

Playing the games for a bit revealed a somewhat competent technical background. The game crashed twice during my playthrough but otherwise ran perfectly. There are only two sound effects - one that plays in the beginning and end of a game. If that sounds good to you, then you should try Logyx out! It's definitely Quantity over Quality, but quantity is a quality on its own.
