Lullaby for an Electric Toaster is a free downloadable game.

It´s a strange concept, you are a little toaster trapped in a kitchen overrun by angry bananas among other creepy little monsters, but it works.

The game is very enjoyable and the atmosphere is heightened by the chilling music that plays throughout. The game advises it is best played in a darkened room and while playing as a little toaster being chased by bananas may sound…well bananas, it does have a very haunting feel to it.

It is also a very hard game if you fall to the floor then it´s pretty much game over unless you can find a way back up on to the kitchen worktop in very little time.

Your little toaster can fire pieces of toast out at any time and although not a particularly effective weapon it is useful to provide extra light to find your way through this labyrinth of a kitchen.

Lullaby for an Electric Toaster is very addictive and the graphics are very nice and well done, there are some nice little details also such as the faces on the angry bananas and the way the toast flames when you first fire it out.

It can be a little frustrating at times especially when you have got further in to a level than you have before and then get killed and sent back to the beginning of that level having to start all over again, but it´s a free download and the positives far outweigh the negatives.
