Megami Quest 1.0

Idle games have become more and more popular ever since Cookie Clicker opened an unexpected floodgate a while ago. Since idle games are easy to create, there have been a ton of them flooding every gaming site. However, many of them are practically the same thing. The best ones, however, do their best to actually innovate the formula. One of them is Megami Quest.

To install Megami Quest, simply unzip the files wherever you want. Then, double click on the index file and it will launch in the browser of your choice. Make sure to click English in the top right to...play in English.

This game is a little confusing to get started in, but only because of the interface. It's pretty straightforward once you get around to learning it. You simply have to pick a location to explore in the middle of the screen. You'll notice a search bar in the middle steadily filling up. Once it's finished, you can hit Complete and the next area will show up. 

If you move forward too quickly, you'll find that progress will quickly slow down because you don't have enough attack to kill enemies quickly. Once you get past a certain point, you will also be able to summon more heroes to join your party, and as you progress, you'll be able to unlock more powerful summons, items, and the ability to upgrade your existing roster.

However, the game is incredibly grindy, since some levels restrict the amount of heroes you can bring. However, Megami Quest is cute enough and has enough of a gameplay spin to hold its own.
