Rail shooters are incredibly popular, with them being mainstays at arcades all over the world. The simple act of peeking out from covers and shooting people in the face is a ton of fun and very skill intensive. While there's not that many attempts at transitioning it into a real game on the computer on account of its simplicity, it turns out that they fit very well into the Flash game genre. Nobuyuki Forces 4 is one of those games.

This game is a remake of the previous game, and you'll see many of the same locales and objectives. You'll quickly realize that this is a very big revamp in terms of gameplay. For starters, before you even start the game, you can now modify your statistics. 

The graphics are also dramatically improved now, with the game now sporting an incredibly appealing 3D and pixel art. There is also voice acting now, and it's pretty high quality, standing up to its inspirations easily. The new item system also makes it so you can't just braindead pick up every item you see in the transitions. You can only pick up a limited amount of items, and it adds some great strategic depth.

All in all, Nobuyuki Forces 4 is a fantastic game if you like mastering something.
