Oblige 1.01

Oblige is a very unique game where you play as an obedient mother and wife in Hong Kong in 1979, the game is described as a typing game and these parts can be quite different but also at times a bit trying as the you have to use the keyboard on the screen which is an old fashioned typewriter style not a modern “qwerty” keyboard so you need to use the screen keyboard and then work out the positions of the letters that you need to type.

There are many other parts to Oblige such as a list of chores which need to be completed each day and the low poly bustling streets of Hong Kong is a fun place to walk or catch a bus to somewhere you may need to go, having to do these chores also lead to some very interesting mini games such as having to put everything together to make the meal for your family.

The game won’t appeal to everyone and sometimes the typing parts can really slow up what is otherwise a very unique and interesting RPG however that’s not to say the typing part some people wouldn’t enjoy it’s just probably not for everyone especially if you want to find out how the story progresses.
