The game's tone juxtaposes against itself constantly, but it works out. One moment, it can be dark and philosophical, and the next, everyone can be laughing at something silly. The concept of the game is also unique - it's clear that the player is meant to impose themselves into the nameless being's identity, with many messages of the game only making sense if addressing the player.

The theme revolves around speaking up and letting other people know who you are, as both playable characters like to bottle up their feelings towards their most social counterpart.
