Operation:Desert City 1.0

Operation: Desert City is an independently made first person shooter game where you play as a kind of futuristic soldier that has to head in to Desert City and shut down their data systems. Although the story line is nothing new and the concept of the game is not particularly original for a free independently developed game this actually looks fantastic it must be one of the most detailed and intricate games ever made using the unity engine and developer KorinOo has every right to be very proud of his creation.

As you walk through the city the details of the buildings and the views from high points look fantastic, the game is also fairly challenging and it’s quite easy to get killed if you’re not a crack shot!

The controls are not quite as sensitive as you would hope however with a game that looks this good you can accept that it looks a little bit rough around the edges and this Operation: Desert City is highly recommended for any fans of first person shooters.

One big gripe is that the game is too short and will almost certainly leave you wanting more but if that’s our biggest complaint with the game it shows just what a polished and great product that this.
