Overpower-Alpha 1.0

Overpower Alpha demo is a great looking cartoon style arena combat game sadly the demo times out after just 10 minutes and it’s not really enough time to get a good feel for the game.

In the short space of time it was available to play it was enjoyable but it is kind of a hit and hope game and it did seem rather difficult to master and a lot of the kills were based on luck of spawning next to someone who had already taken some damage.

As fantastic and colorful as the game looks the overall gameplay is a little basic and could use some improvement, ten minutes was not really sufficient time to discover if it was possible to do any special attacks or moves.

At one point my character started running uncontrollably when I was not pressing the button to move which was very frustrating as I was not able to stand and fight with the other players in the arena but only run straight past them which seemed very glitchy and it was notable that it was visibly happening to some other players also..

Overpower Alpha demo is worth playing just to see how great the animation looks but in regards to the actual fight side of things there is still plenty of room for improvement.
