Artix Entertainment has been making games for over a decade now. I still remember when I was a kid how I found AdventureQuest and found it to be one of the coolest games ever. Even to this day, I can appreciate just how high quality it is for a flash game of its time. The company, Artix Entertainment, has gone on to expand its portfolio through a ton of different genres. One of them is OverSoul, a card game of all things.

To play OverSoul, make sure you have the Artix Game Launcher installed and head on over to its tab to play the game.

The main story premise is very interesting. Your character starts off dead and has the ability to possess people, and you have to hunt down the god that killed you.

The first thing you'll notice is the unique aesthetic it has, especially compared to other card games. Instead of you fighting on a rendered table with the only character models being on either end of the table, you instead have your customized character facing off against someone else's customized character.

Deck building is also very straightforward. You need to find and collect characters in PvE, which is what your cards are. Depending on what characters you encounter, your deck can be very different. Once you defeat them, you'll have a chance to possess them and add them to your deck. Each of them can also be ranked up through four ranks to become more powerful.

It's unfortunate that the playerbase of OverSoul is so low, but it's very fun as is. Give it a try, but don't expect longevity.
