Pato Box Alpha Demo 1.0

Pato Box Alpha demo is a noir kind of boxing/story/beat ‘em up game where you play as a duck-human hybrid who is a professional boxer, the game starts out with a tutorial on how to box and almost immediately afterwards you are thrown in to the ring with an opponent and have to try to win the boxing match during the match something suspicious happens though and soon you’re found in an alleyway recovering from your wounds until a shadowy figure patches you up and the story begins.

The dark cartoon style may not be to everyone’s taste but it has a certain appeal to it making you feel as if you’re in a live action cartoon and Pato Box shows a lot of promise as a very different, interesting and varied game.

The boxing fights are a lot of fun and the training you get at the start help, but it would be great if there was a tutorial for the story part controls as it becomes a bit of struggle trying to work some things out when you head off to the apparently evil corporation and as we found you may get a little stuck here also pressing the wrong button can take you back to the beginning of the game which can be very frustrating.

With a bit of polishing this has the potential to be a fantastic game.
