One of them is Physics Mod, a mod that adds proper physics to the blocks of Minecraft.

Installing Physics Mod is simple. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed, then navigate to your mods folder and drag it in.

This mod will make the blocks break apart into several chunks before disappearing. These chunks will completely obey the laws of physics, meaning that they will fall down to the ground, get carried by the flow of water, and breaking blocks or plants underwater will make them float up to the surface.

Trees will also collapse when you break the trunk, looking both hilarious and also giving it some proper utility for people who don't care about just laughing at the ridiculousness. The animals will also break into a bunch of little pieces, which is somehow more charming than anything.
