Silent Santa 3 1.0

Silent Santa 3 is a very festive seasonal game which should get a bit of popularity at this time of year and it has some very interesting elements to it, you play as Santa Clause and you can design and create your own toys to give to all the boys and girls on that special day.

There are two main parts to the game, the fabric which is your toy making factory where you can get creative by designing, building and painting your toy creations and the town which is a beautifully rendered great looking town in a permanent state of Christmas, the server also supports multiple players so you may make some Christmassy friends on your travels although admittedly whilst trying the game out there was no one else in the town which was a bit of a shame as there was no one to share the Christmas magic with.

So the game is full of Christmas cheer, that’s been established however is it any good? The answer is debatable, it looks fantastic so much time and effort has been put in to the graphics rendering, but the toy making process is very difficult to become accustomed to, however just looking round your factory shows how great the game looks, but the controls can be very jerky and difficult, also putting that fantastic looking pool table in the factory and not being able to play it is just cruel. After trying and failing to make toys in the factory it was time to head over to the town which again looks really good but walk too far out and it all becomes a bit bleak and sparse and some pretty weird stuff can happen like walking in to a lake and only being able to walk out by walking backwards or getting stuck in endless tress in the forest however it does look excellent and it’s hard not to feel Christmassy after wading around in the snow.
