StoneHeart 1.0

StoneHeart is an interesting futuristic archery based game where you play as a female warrior and must make your way across the platform levels destroying bad guys who are almost certainly robots and avoiding falling in to various traps and pitfalls along the way.

This another fantastic free game from the guys at Digipen studios and looks fantastic as a side scrolling platformer although some of the movements can be a little jerky such as not being able to jump up to a higher surface if you are too near to it and having to take a couple of steps back to be able to reach it, but the best thing about the game is the archery, your only weapon is a bow and arrow and you must make your way through your enemies by shooting them with arrows but be careful as you do because one hit will see you killed however luckily there are many checkpoints and you will never have to restart from too far back.

StoneHeart was created in C++ using no other gaming engine which is a really impressive feat and you should play this just to see what a great game can be created using just this program.

StoneHeart looks fantastic and plays well although it is not without the odd hiccough here and there but it is a lot of fun especially if you are looking for a platformer with a difference and a very cool archery mechanic, download it for free here.
