TailGunner 1.0

TailGunner is a simple low poly game where you play as the tail gunner of a plane, the time line is not specified but the game is most likely inspired by the dog fights of World War Two.

Although it’s very blocky looking there’s also something charming about it and it is very satisfying seeing how many waves of enemies you can take on before inevitably one of them shoots you down, the tail of your plane can be something of a hindrance when you’re trying to shoot enemy planes coming directly from behind however you can tilt to the side using the A and D keys to try to get a clean shot. You can also use the right mouse button to zoom in.

As you play certain awards will be received such as for shooting down an enemy plane from a long distance or taking two planes out with one shot.

Although the graphics in TailGunner look basic the real winner here is the game play and it’s a whole lot of gun blazing fun that you will find very hard to put down, after each attempt you will get your kill ratio and shot accuracy and how many waves you’ve managed to survive for but you will want to jump straight back in to try to beat your record again and again.
