The ECHO Initiative 1.0

The ECHO Initiative is a strange yet very interesting game set in the infinite world of space, where you to say play as would be incorrect, where you have some form of limited control over this strange space craft. As it goes along the space craft rotates and you have a short space of time to hit the buttons on the panels of the space craft whilst they are available on the screen, each of the buttons will have a different effect for example one of them will open the solar panel which will search for alien life in the area, another button will set off a sonar to attract any alien life near you and it wasn’t clear but this also seemed to shoot off some sort of ray although using this to fend off alien attacks seemed ineffective.

Of the couple of aliens I did encounter one just seemed to splat in the space ship and the other just buzzed around me and kept attacking to which my only defense was the strange radar like thing which shoots some things off but was impossible to aim at this bee like nuisance of an alien.

Although it’s a fairly strange game it’s oddly enjoyable but there is no instruction or mission statement given to you so the whole thing is a lot of guess work and necessary good timing.
