Point and click games used to be all the craze until around the 2010s. The genre also proved incredibly popular among flash game creators, due to the relatively simple planning and programming that goes into such a game. Mateusz Skutnik is one of the best creators of the genre. Less known is that he's actually part of a team - Pastel Games - and that they assisted in many of his best-known games. He in turn has contributed to their work, with one of them being the Fog Fall series. Let's look at The Fog Fall.

The story is incredibly bleak. You play as the daughter of a family who tries to eke out a sad existence in a bomb shelter house after a nuclear holocaust renders the outside world uninhabitable. It's a very miserable life and the game really sells it with how cramped your entire house is, and how eerie and bleak the color scheme is.

In terms of gameplay, it's pretty much identical to Skutnik's previous works. Much like said other works, however, the gameplay can get incredibly unintuitive at times, and requires some leaps in logic.
