Minecraft is a game with limitless potential. While people constantly push the boundaries with mods adding more and more gameplay features to the point where it can straight up turn into a strategy game or just flat out be a very functional MMORPG. However, there is a ton of things that can be done with vanilla Minecraft to this day. In fact, new things are still being added to Minecraft to this day. One of them is The Magic Doorknob, a mod that lets you create  whole new host of doorknobs that also create tunnels.

Installing The Magic Doorknob is simple. Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed, then navigate to your mods folder and drag it in.

Unlike most custom mod recipes, this one is rather expensive. You need an ender pearl and 4 of whatever door type you want to craft, which covers every single mineral type up to and including diamond.

They need to be placed two blocks up like normal doors, and they'll also create a tunnel behind them. What's unique here is that they're simply displacing the materials for the tunnel, not removing them. This is where the magic part comes in, as it really feels like you're creating tunnels into another dimension.

However, do note that in multiplayer, if you're in a tunnel and someone removes the knob, you'll be crushed to death.

The Magic Doorknob is a mod that gives you a lot more options in gameplay and you should give it a shot if you're a Minecraft fan.
