The Shadows That Run Along Side Our Car 1.0

The Shadows That Run Alongside Our Car is a short visual novel about two people thrown together under never fully disclosed circumstances during a zombie apocalypse and we share in short part of their journey together by joining them as they cover cross country on a road trip and although basically strangers the two people find themselves opening up to each other in these horrific circumstances.

Although the pictures do not change often the game has a very cool comic book style to it and you can certainly see the influence in here from the walking dead graphic novels and the video game series as the cartoon like style is very similar.

The story in The Shadows That Run Alongside Our Car is enough to keep you interested and you can choose which of the two characters eyes that you decide to view the story from which also means you can play it through at least twice as playing as each different character will provide you with a deeper insight to the previous lives of the two protagonists.

There’s also a couple of nice twists in the story but sadly it’s all over a bit quickly and that’s a shame as the build-up during the game gives you hope for some kind of extravagant set piece or cut scene at the end that would have made the difference in this visual novel between good and great.
