Even now, its modding community is still going strong for a good reason. The incredible modability along with the relatively simple engine lends it incredibly well to modders. The community has created some amazing mods, and one of the higher quality ones out there is Vs. Alfie: Moonlit Melodies.

To install Vs. Alfie: Moonlit Melodies, simply drag and drop the files from the mod into the folder where you extracted the original game files.

This mod features full cutscenes as well as custom songs, note tracks, and more. It features the character Ralsei from Deltarune, who has been written into the story about as naturally as you'd expect from a fan-made crossover. Moreover, the reason for their rhythmic throwdown is a lot less interesting than a lot of other similar mods, making the character less interesting until a few weeks in.

This mod also, like most modern mods, utilizes the Kade Engine, meaning most of the hit registration issues that you'll find in the base unmodded vanilla game that are rampant are fixed. You won't find any random misses on notes you clearly hit and your stats will also be tracked live in the bottom.
