Wolfenstein X: Hearts of Liberty COMPLETE

DOOM is one of the oldest FPSes in existence, and its engine is famously so robust that it can run on pretty much anything and also create pretty much anything.  From FPSes to RPGs to companions to a city living game, it has a ton of different mods that can all do different things. One of the more unique ones out there is Wolfenstein X: Hearts of Liberty.

To install Wolfenstein X: Hearts of Liberty, you need to have GZDoom. Then, copy the .pk3 file into the GZDoom folder and drag it on top of the GZDoom.exe to start playing.

This game mods it to play very similarly to Wolfenstein. In fact, it's pretty much a much more brutal version of the original Wolfenstein. You play as BJ Blazkowicz, who once again has to rip and tear his way through a horde of Nazis. It's a tale as old as time but it pretty much never gets old. It leans into its ridiculousness by playing over-the-top patriotic music or over-the-top rock music.

What's more, this mod actually supports co-op multiplayer, which is extremely rare for DOOM mods. The only big downside I can think of is the fact that there's practically no narrative. It's just a series of objectives that the game gives you while you shoot Nazis. Now, Doom isn't known for its narrative so it's fine, but Doom mods have traditionally known to have some really good narratives regardless.

Overall, Wolfenstein X: Hearts of Liberty is an incredibly impressive total overhaul mod that the DOOM mod community has been getting known for.
