Flash games were the precursors to many parts of the gaming industry today. The creativity and willingness to experiment have translated over to the indie games industry. Many design elements used in AAA games today were first observed in flash games, and the casual nature of many flash games has translated over to the mobile game industry. One of them is Bike Mania, a series with a formula that's actually represented in modern arcade-style games on consoles. Let's look at the first game.

To install Bike Mania, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.

This game has very simple gameplay. You play as a man on a motorcycle, and you have to navigate through an obstacle course full of things in your way. You have very simple controls. You just have to use the arrow keys - up and down will accelerate and decelerate your motorcycle and left and right will have your character lean forward and back to control how the bike will flip.

You have to navigate your way through a ton of obstacles while stopping yourself from flipping so hard that you flip over. It's a very simple concept, but it's an incredibly addicting formula that holds up well.

If you're a fan of simple arcade games that are still very addictive, Bika Mania is a great game for exactly that. However, since this is the first entry, it's unpolished and basic.
