Excel Repair Review

Sometimes, saving your file goes wrong. Sometimes, it's an insanely long excel file that has all your data stored in it. Hopefully, you have some backups if you have a good management system, but what if you don't? Then DataNumen Excel Repair is here to help.
DataNumen Excel Repair makes a pretty bad first impression. The install window is incredibly outdated, bringing me back to the Windows 98 days. It boots up a giant, full-screen window with a default blue, boring background while a tiny installation window does its job in the middle of the screen. This may be due to the program actually being compatible with Windows 98, but with how rare those users are, I think it can do with an upgraded installer.
Actually booting it up leaves a slightly better impression, but only just. It constantly reminds you that you're using the trial version, which is only for personal use and can only recover the first 30 occupied and recoverable cell. This popup repeats every time you try to recover a file. These popups get aggravating.
The interface doesn't need much explaining. There is a Repair tab, which does what you think it does, Batch Repair, which does the same thing but in a group, Options that let you modify what you want recovered and where you want them to go, and About, which tells you about the program.
Actually repairing a program is easy. All you have to do is select the program, click repair, and DataNumen Excel Repair will automatically repair it and spit it out. In my test file, it worked perfectly, though only for 30 cells. I had some functions tied into that particular row, and that row was left half repaired, leaving most of the functions nonfunctional for that row. The full use version will have nothing like that. If you need a program like this, you can't go wrong with purchasing it.
