Microsoft has been good about supporting their newest operating systems with updates, but there's only one problem. They actively force you to update when the time comes. This looks great on paper - everybody receives available bug fixes, patches, or enhancements on time. However, these updates take an insane amount of time, and Microsoft's quality assurance team may let a few new bugs slip through the crack. Should you fall into either of those categories, you'd want to have the ability to choose when to install them and StopUpdates10 helps you do that.
The installation process for StopUpdates10 is quick and easy, with very little user input required. As soon as you boot it up, you'll notice a pleasant and intuitive interface, with a giant button in the middle that will block Windows Updates when enabled. You can choose exactly what date and time to keep it blocked, so if you want it to be stopped indefinitely, you can set it to ninety years in the future.
If you have second thoughts about blocking the updates, simply click the same button to unblock it. All this does is stop the operating system from upgrading itself by force. To update it properly, you'll need to actually manually go check for updates and allow for it to do its work. The program will also deactivate notifications that pop up on screen whenever new updates are available.
If this sounds like someone you need, then you should give StopUpdates10 a quick download and you'll be pleased.
