Sometimes, when you're working on something for a long time, you lose track of time. Sometimes it takes a program to tell you that you're spending too much time on something so you can either move on or simply take a break. There are a ton of different programs out there for this, and one of many is Tockler.
Installing Tockler is incredibly easy. Simply run the executable and you're good to go. Once you boot it up, you'll notice that there's no interface. It puts itself into the tray out of the way until you have need of it. If you want to use it at any point, simply double click the icon in the tray and it'll boot up.
Here, you'll learn that the application keeps track of your activity and displays it with the help of a comprehensive timeline and a very easy-to-read pie chart. By hovering your cursor over the pie chart's sections, you can get an accurate reading on how much time you've spent working on each program.
Alternatively, you can also get a clear description of your activities by hovering with the cursor over the timeline chart. It will split your activity into separate time sections and you can easily pinpoint the activity sections and view the starting and finishing times for an app.
Overall, Tockler does exactly what it says it does. It may not be exactly feature-packed, but its simplicity may make it much more preferable over other more complicated programs.
