AMIDuOS 1.0

AMIDuOS in theory is a great idea basically it turns your computer in to an android phone (except without the ability to make calls and send texts) but you can download android apps and play games through it.

Sounds like a great idea, sadly in practice I was not so impressed, it comes with the amazon app store already installed and helpful instructions as to how to install the google play store, however after following the instructions it never did work and just said application failed to install every time I opened AMIDuOS.
This was a shame as I figured the best use of AMIDuOS would be to download whatsapp and finally have it on my desktop but because I could not open the google play store this was not a possibility.

So I moved on to games and this was slightly better the trivia game I downloaded was fun and much easier to see on my PC screen in comparison with my mobile phone, however then I tried to play a soccer game and this was a real problem as my PC is not touch screen I could not make the players move so I was stuck playing stationary soccer hoping the ball may land at my players feet so I could at least try a shot.

If this app could connect to my phone and automatically download the apps I have on there then it would be much better, but I'm not really sure why I would want to turn my PC in to an android if the greatest reason is for games as I can play much better games directly through the PC and without the difficulties of trying to use a mouse to do phone controls.

There is a wealth of android games you can download and many of them free which is a bonus but there seems to also be a few bugs and flaws with AMIDuOS although some of these may be limited to just my PC.
If you love android gaming then this probably is a great app for you , it is free for 30 days but until the bugs have been rectified I will not be upgrading to the premium service.
