Two Players games or More: The Best Multiplayer games on PC

I still remember the days when I’d have friends over and we’d play multiplayer games and laugh like idiots. Sadly I’m not living even remotely close to them to do so, but the internet is a good substitute. Nowadays more and more games come with multiplayer included, so at least two players games can enjoy some good fun without having to be in the same room. In fact, it’s fair to say that most gamers play more multiplayer games with strangers than they do with people close to them.
Garry’s Mod is an odd one to this list, I admit it, but much like Minecraft, it’s a game that shines when people play together. What most don’t know is that there is multiplayer in GMod and there are hundreds of maps and servers for you to join other creators. From two players games to hundreds, you can band together and create the most insane physics experiments or collaborate to create new addons, textures, gamemodes and plugins and then create custom gameplay maps that use them to the fullest. For example, and this is a video I saw recently, three players created a faithful replica of Spongebob in Garry’s Mod and then had a deathmatch in their custom map!

World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft is the most popular MMO in the world, with more players than some countries have as population. You can play on your own, but it really becomes something else when you get two players or more involved. From partying up for quests and levels, to joining five-man dungeons to the end-game raids with up thirty people at the same time. If you’re looking for one of the best multiplayer experiences in the world, then World of Warcraft is your game. Best of all is that you can play up to level 20 with the starter version, which you can get on Rocky Bytes.

Minecraft is a game we’ve covered here until the point of exhaustion, haven’t we? But that just proves how good it is. Online you mostly see videos of people building stuff on their own, but some of the best content is the one built by two player teams or even larger ones. From a replica of our planet to one of the Star Trek ship the Enterprise on a 1-1 scale. Grab a mate, head off into one of these biomes and start building! Better yet, tag-team the survival content and defeat all the nasty enemies and bosses Minecraft puts in front of you! It goes without saying but there’s a Minecraft free download on Rocky Bytes.

Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo had to be part of this list, because it still boasts one of the best multiplayer experiences in the world. It’s in fact a game that revolutionised multiplayer games. Before you had to have your friend sitting right by you for that two player deathmatch, but Halo gave you the opportunity to not only do that but also enjoy team battles with players from across the globe! Halo 2—if you can get your hands on it—improved on the concept and added co-op to the main campaign, and there is no better way to play Halo than clearing it with two players!

And that’s our list of best PC multiplayer games. Grab a few partners and have some matches or go adventuring together. Two-player games matches offer some nice competition, but nothing’s quite like the chaos of having multiple players around. As always, let us know what you think in the comments below and don’t forget to come back for more here on Rocky Bytes!
It is coming up to three weeks since we have had a new build of one of the the most popular free games in the world (whilst it remains in development at least) and we are normally used to a clockwork like schedule from Yandere Dev of a new build each two weeks, but if sources are correct it could be that ...

You may have been wondering why there hasn't been the usual two week gaps between uploads of Yandere Simulator, of course our beloved Senpai Yandere Dev was very busy at the back end of November and advised there wouldn't be a new build for around a month at that point, due to the amount of work going in ...
