Assassin's Creed 3 Patch Review
Last Updated: 2014-09-18 03:05:40
A highly anticipated action adventure video game with a large fan base, Assassin's Creed 3 is the fifth installment of the series of releases made by Ubisoft. It is a sequel to Assassin's Creed: Revelations. It was originally released on PC in November of 2012 and has received a number of patches since it's release. This patch is the third official patch released by Ubisoft.
The game is set in an open world and is in the third person perspective with stealthy gameplay focused on taking out targets to whip their affects from the future reality using a history altering time machine using the memories of Desmond's (the main character) ancestors. This time machine is called The Animus. Desmond goes back in time altering the memories of his ancestors, which essentially alters the fabric of time within the game. This is all in response to uncovering the secret of a mysterious Precursor Vault that is said to protect Earth from a life threatening solar flare on December 21, 2012.
Assassin's Creed 3 features a lot of close combat gameplay, stealthy missions, and creative uses for knives and various other weapons that can conceal an assassin's identity. Carrying out missions to alter the course of time, Desmond changes the memories in a continuous attempt to save life on Earth itself.
Patch 3, also known as version 1.03, addresses a few issues that remain in the single player mode of the game, as well as various fixes for the multiplayer mode of the game as well. These were the last known major bugs in Assassin's Creed 3 to be addressed, and those fixes are in this patch. These fixes include various graphical and platform glitches, as well as issues with the character customization and animations.
