In many ways, the Flash game industry is a precursor to the mobile game industry. For instance, all those physics puzzle games that have flooded the mobile market? It has its roots in Flash games and it's doubtful that the games would have their gameplay as fleshed out as they are if it weren't for these flash games paving the way. One of them is the Ball Revamped series. Let's look at Ball Revamped 5: Synergy.

To play Ball Revamped 5: Synergy, just run it with whatever SWF player you have.

This game once again returns to its roots, and has a locked camera. The main new gimmick around is the powerups. Unlike the last couple of games where powerups make it way easier to finish but aren't necessary, this game now designs its levels around these powerups. For instance, one powerup will turn you into water and let you drip through grates. Another will turn you into a rock that increases your weight and lets you break through certain surfaces.

Unfortunately, there are a couple of massive difficulty spikes that get way too difficult. They're crazy enough to make a player quit because they're just that crazy of a spike, and it just points to bad design.
