Better Call Saul Kart Review

Low-budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to dazzle the audience with beautiful graphics, they instead need to focus on something else to stand out. These restrictions can lead to some very creative premises. Let's look at Better Call Saul Kart.
To install Better Call Saul Kart, simply unzip the files inside the archive into any folder you want.
To start off - the graphics are really nice. It uses a low-poly art style with pixelated photorealistic faces. This is, surprisingly, more than enough to differentiate each character.
The actual gameplay is also shockingly good. While a lot of depth has been lost in the transition, such as a lack of drift boosts and startup boosts, there are a couple of features that I would love to see in a mainline Mario game. Specifically, the little cut ins of your victims after you manage to hit them with your item. Those add a ton of charm to the game and could give Nintendo a fantastic way to flex off their facial animations.
That's not all, though. There's a special cutscene that recreates a very pivotal moment from the game, so there's a massive spoiler warning. Needless to say, this cutscene is more than enough to show that the creator was a massive fan of the show and this is all in good fun.
All in all, Better Call Saul Kart is an incredibly unique game that everybody should check out.
