Blood of the Killer Review

Low budget indie games tend to be some of the most creative around, assuming they aren't just flipping assets poorly in Unity. Without the budget to create an epic, the creators instead need to focus on one unique feature to make their games stick out. From these restrictions come some truly inventive concepts. One of them is Flesh of the Killer, a game with an incredibly unique visual style.
To play Flesh of the Killer, simply unzip the files into a folder and run the executable.
The game involves the character BB who's taking a trip to a quaint little town to meet an acquaintance. Unlike the other entries, this one is very upfront about how it's filled with serial killers and severed heads, which gives it a little bit more of a surreal horror feel than the other entries.
The audio is very creepy, with a constant droning sound in the background and the occasional creepy laughter. The story is surprisingly twisty, with simultaneous tongue in cheek jokes along with genuinely creepy moments. It fits a surprisingly large amount of content and story beats into a game that will just take you twenty minutes to get through.
One of the game's best assets is the visual style. It's an incredibly charming and well thought out blend of 2D and 3D and definitely sticks with you after you're finished with a playthrough of it. If any of that sounds interesting to you, then you should definitely give Flesh of the Killer a playthrough.
