Tower Defense games have generally fallen out of favor in the mainline gaming industry in the 21st century. There are very few tower defense games in the AAA market, and even if they're there, it's usually as part of a gimmick or a minigame. The game resembles the first game in a lot of ways, but updated. You have to create your own maze with the towers to force the enemy to take an incredibly long, meandering path to the finish. What sets this game apart is the upgrade system. Much like the original series, you only have one tower you can put down - what sets them apart is what you can upgrade them to. However, they added four new tower types, four new enemies for you to defeat, 15 new maps, and a new dark mode. This is more than enough to revamp the original game just enough to be incredibly fun.

All in all, Bubble Tanks Tower Defense 1.5 is a very strong game and is incredibly fun to play through.
