Flash games were the precursors to many parts of the gaming industry today. The creativity and willingness to experiment has translated over to the indie games industry, many design elements that are used in AAA games today were first observed in flash games, and the casual nature of many flash games has translated over to the mobile game industry. Epic Coaster is one of those casual games, focusing on an incredibly addicting gameplay loop that can be played in short bursts.

The gameplay loop is simple. You're playing as a roller coaster that is riding along a very unsafe and unfinished track. You have to jump across the holes to put on a good show for the audience. The riskier the jump, the more points you'll get.

The only control in this game is spacebar for jump. However, that doesn't mean it's easy. Your coaster's jump height depends on how long you could the button down. If you want to optimize your point gain, you'll need to land on the very edge of the next platform. Sometimes, even tapping your jump will send you too far, so you'll also need to time when to start jumping. 

Dying is quick, but restarting can be done with a simple key stroke. This makes the gameplay loop very addicting. If that sounds interesting, then you should give Epic Coaster a shot.
