Final Days 1.0

Final Days demo puts you at the center of the zombie outbreak starting out in some kind of lab facility where clearly something has gone very wrong this birds eye view shoot ‘em up comes at you hard and fast, the first wave of zombies is fairly spread out and not too difficult to shoot them even with your incredibly weak gun, it also takes at least a couple of direct hits to kill each zombie so they are no push over but it’s when you get on to phase two things really start to heat up, you are faced by new tougher looking zombies and they start to come at you in packs so you have to be careful not to back yourself in to a corner and get over run.

The demo only features one map and it’s not particularly big but there is a fun retro vibe about the game although it does get very hard very quickly, there is an online version available in the demo also but the servers seem to be more or less redundant now as it was impossible to connect to any live game.

Final days is nothing new or ground breaking in video games but it’s fun to play for a little while as long as you don’t get too frustrated by how hard that it can be at times but it’s certainly not a bad game and it is good old fashioned fun, well old fashioned in the respect of seeming like an older style computer game.
