Fog of War. The Battle of 1939-1945 1.0

Fog of War. The Battle of 1939-1945 is a fast paced, low poly action platform game that is set during World War 2 although to be honest there is nothing defining here that would make this game as recognizably set during that period of time, but that’s not to say that it isn’t a lot of fun in that classic run and gun style. There’s no doubt about it though this game is very hard, you will have to master jumping and crouching to avoid enemy fire while also keeping an eye out for land mines laid along the ground.

Whilst Fog of War may disappoint some who were hoping for a more historical experience based on the title however if you’re looking for a challenging and fun side scrolling shoot ‘em up then you can’t really go wrong here.

The game gives you three lives each turn but rather interestingly it also switches between three different characters, two very much in the army style and one who looks a bit like an 8-Bit Rambo and each of the three have a slightly different weapon, which character you start as and which comes next is randomly generated so you will need to get acquainted with all three and their separate styles to try and defeat the oncoming enemies.
