Format Factory Review

Looking for an easy, simple, and powerful tool to convert almost any file to almost any file format? Format Factory provides exactly what you’re looking for.
To install the program, simply run the installer. Do be warned, though. Throughout the installation process, it will try to install a ton of potentially unwanted programs that aren't useful for much. Don't worry, though. You can deselect these programs in the installer and even if you accidentally install them, you can always uninstall them quickly.
Most file conversion programs are limited to a specific type of file conversion, such as .wav to .mp3 or .mp4 to .mov. With Format Factory, they are all there, avi, mkv, swf, flv, mpg, mp3, aac, amr, mp2, wma, flac, mp3, mmf, m4r … and the list goes on. You can even convert image files such as jpg and png.
Format Factory is full of features and settings. When converting a file you can choose to convert it in it's full original quality, or reduce the quality to your liking in order to reduce file size. With video and audio conversion, you can specify a specific start and end time for your files.
If you are someone who has a large DVD collection and you would like to digitalize it, you can do so with Format Factory using the .TS folders.
Not only that, though. You can also rip music directly into an audio file or rip unrpotected DVDs to video. This is incredibly useful if you want to convert files to run on phones and other mobile devices, with support for 3GP, MP4, and more.
You'll also find that there's an incredibly useful batch conversion feature. First, all you need to do is use the buttons on the left-hand side to pick the format you want to convert to. You can also convert video, audio, image, and ebook files as well as rip media from CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray discs. Once that's finished, you just need to select the file format you want them to be converted to and modify the export options if you want. Its output settings will give you a huge choice of advanced encoding tools, which you can adjust to create a custom profile for future use.
There are also preset options you can choose from, but they aren't tailored to anything and are too general to be truly useful. You'll need to do some research and homework to figure out how to make your own settings.
If you're converting videos, there is also an option button that contains a tiny little video editor that lets you choose the start and end point of the video, or crop it as it's converted. While it isn't as useful as a true video editor, the tiny little thought is incredibly appreciated and very useful.
Format Factory truly is the best all-around solution for file conversion. Try it out. You’ll be hooked.
