Friday Night Panic 1.0

Friday Night Panic is a retro style side scrolling platform game where you play as man who has just crashed his car (possibly whilst drunk driving) and has only 3 minutes to return to his home, to do this he must get through numerous levels and avoid a torrent of obstacles including cats and man eating plants.

The premise of the game is very simple and for those of you old enough to remember it’s very reminiscent of the old handheld LED games and the initial Gameboy games, the game play is very easy to jump straight in to however the game itself is a real challenge if you even briefly touch one of the enemies then it’s back to the beginning of the level and do it three times and you will have to start again.

You only get three lives and if you use all three (which you will until you get used to the hyper sensitive jumping mechanics) then you have to start all over again, however you do get the timer back up to three minutes again which is a help as the time really is against you in this difficult yet fun game.

Friday Night Panic is fun in its simplicity but also an incredible challenge that you may well end up spending your whole Friday night trying to complete!
